Island History & Mystery

Dual-island nations in the Caribbean are a very interesting and unique destination. Most of the islands of the Caribbean had been heavily influenced by the influx of Europeans to the region going as far back as the 1600’s with explorers arriving on tall ships. Language, culture, architecture, and foods from many lands have mixed and melded to form the modern day personality of each of the islands. England, Spain, France and the Netherlands lay claim to the various Caribbean islands on arrival and some decided to share island sovereignty as opposed to engage in a tug of war for control….hence the amazing dual-island nations of:

St. Kitts/Nevis – England/France

St. Maarten/St. Martin  – Netherlands/France

We highly recommend a trip to these great destinations filled with remarkable history and culture.
There are many opportunities to immerse yourself in the culture and history of these nations.

Tour a fortress, visit a landmark, take in architecture….we like to think you will enjoy a two-for-one experience.
There are no borders to cross on these friendly multi-cultured islands.
